Community Event of the year
The Fearless Festival has been nominated as a Community Event of The Year for the 2024 Australia Day Awards. The prestigious nomination has been put forward by the Devonport City Council’s mayor - Alison Jarman.
Mayor Jarman was an integral part of the 2023 Festival which was held in Devonport. She experienced first-hand the positive impact the event has on young people looking to expand their career opportunities and explore future possibilities.

This year we have managed to attract the support of the Department for Education, Children and Young People The Catholic Education Office & the Independent Schools Association who are working with us and steering schools and other interested parties to get involved.
It proves we are listening, to companies, organisations and schools who WANT a bigger range of employment options to be on show.
The annual FREE Fearless Festival dinner…
Features 6 leading women who have super achieved in their fields and industries. Scholarships based on aptitude and attitude are also presented on the night. Likewise the MC is another ground breaking female, in Alison Jarman, current Mayor of Devonport.
